Below you will find the 2015 OPRF Tryout Schedule.  Please be sure to have the following turned into the Athletic Office PRIOR to 4 pm on Thursday, March 5.

THURSDAY, March 5: 
6:30-9 pm
  • 6:30 pm: Meet in 1E gym (gym connected to the field house) for sign in and stretching
  • 7- 9 pm:  Field house: Individual skills/conditioning:
    • Lacrosse quiz/questionnaire 
    • 2 mile run (20 laps in the field house)
    • Hamster Drill
    • Feeding/Shooting
    • 100 M sprints
FRIDAY, March 6: 6:30 - 9 pm
  • 6:30 pm: Meet in 1E gym for sign in & stretching
  • 7-9 pm:  Field House: Individual skills part 2
    • Shuttle evaluation
    • 1v1's inside a box (receive ball from 4 post players)
    • 300 M dash
    • Progressive Defense
Saturday, March 7: 12:30 - 5:30 pm
  • 12:30 pm: Meet in 1E gym for sign in and stretching
  • 1-3:30: Field House: Scrimmage & 4v3 play
    • Based on performance in first two days, girls will be split into 8 teams.  There will be 6 rounds of 20 minute 7v7 scrimmages to evaluate how girls perform in game like situations.  This will take place in the field house.  Each "team" will have 3 scrimmages, 1-2 sessions of 4v3's and will have breaks in between.
  • 3:30 - 5:30 - Tryout results
    • Girls will wait together until their names are called.  During their wait time, they will not have access to their phones so that girls cannot text each other results before we give them.  Players who make F/S and JV can leave after their discussion with the coaches.  Players who make Varsity must wait until all results are in to have a team meeting afterwards.
